EXHIBITOR INFORMATION

Background

Now in its 33rd year of supporting the group travel industry, Excursions is the longest established group travel show in the UK. Visitors to Excursions 2009, the UK’s premier one day group travel show, were 7.5% up on the 2008 Figures at over 1,100 setting a new attendance record this century. Declared a resounding success, the exhibition also attracted a record number of exhibitors with over 200 attractions, destinations, accommodation providers and tour operators taking space.

Excursions 2009 proved to be a great success and the organisers of the event work hard to ensure that visitors to the show have an enjoyable and informative day and exhibitors are able to meet, and conduct business with, a vast number of group organisers and operators.

Seven coaches transported visitors to the show from around the UK including North Wales and Middlesex. Each year there is a free shuttle coach from the nearest railway and underground stations with Excursions staff waiting on the platforms to greet visitors and guide them to the coach.

An average of 99% of visitors to Excursions from 2005 to 2009 rated the show as ‘worthwhile’ or ‘very worthwhile’.
